Nominations are open and will close on 31 December 2023.
Nominations will be assessed only on the information you provide. Please give as much information as possible, including evidence to support your nomination and the impact your nominee has made.
More information including categories, criteria, and terms and conditions can be found in the nomination form.
Completed nominations must be received by email or post to the Mayor’s Office by 31 December 2023. The Civic Awards Ceremony will be held in March 2024.
Printed copies will be available in limited numbers at Barnet Libraries or can be requested from the Mayor's Office

Civic Awards 2021 winners
Traditionally, the annual awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of individuals and organisations from across the borough in 2 categories:
- Lifetime Achievement
- Outstanding Service to the Community
Due to the challenges the pandemic has presented in the past year, a new category was created.
The COVID-19 Community Heroes Award was created to recognise individuals and organisations who stepped up to help as part of the COVID-19 response.

Due to the pandemic, once again a Civic Awards ceremony did not take place. Socially distanced presentations were made in April and May by the Mayor.
Civic Awards 2020 winners
Due to the pandemic the Civic awards ceremony, due to be held in March 2020, was cancelled. Socially distanced presentations were made in August by the Mayor.
