Notice of vacancy for a Councillor

Following the sad death of Councillor Melvin Cohen, I hereby give notice that a vacancy now exists in the office of Borough Councillor for the Golders Green ward of the London Borough of Barnet.

In accordance with Section 89(1) of the Local Government Act 1972, an election to fill the vacancy will be held within 35 working days, once notice in writing has been given to me by two registered electors of the London Borough of Barnet, to fill said vacancy.
