Free community health screenings
The Community Health Screening service is a free service for anyone over the age of 40 who lives, works or studies in Barnet.
Sessions take place throughout the borough.
The service is free and open to anyone over 40. You do not need to be registered with a GP.
Tests at the community health screening
Healthcare professionals will check your:
- blood sugar levels
- cholesterol levels
- blood pressure
- height
- weight
- body mass index (BMI)
They will also ask a few questions about your lifestyle, including diet, smoking and alcohol intake.
Following the screening, you’ll be offered advice and signposting to local services that can support you to reach your health goals.
Community health screening schedule
Each session will take around 20 minutes. We are able to offer 6 sessions per hour.
Pop up events take place in various locations across the borough.
Book a health screening
Walk-ins are available but capacity is limited. There may be a wait during busy periods.
