Pay by Direct Debit
This is an easy and secure way to pay your Council Tax. Every month your Council Tax payment will automatically be paid, without having to remember how much to pay and when to pay it.
You can pay in 10, 11 or 12 instalments across the year. This will apply to your main Council Tax bill issued in April.
In order to set up a Direct Debit online, you need to confirm:
- you are the named account holder of the bank account to be debited
- your signature to authorise the setting up of Direct Debits on this bank account.
You can choose to make your payment on the 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 of each month.
Your Direct Debit will take up to 3 working days to be processed.
You can cancel this arrangement at any time.
We may send you a text message reminding you that your council tax bill is due.
