The Local Plan

The Local Plan is the development plan for the borough. It sets out how we will manage development and growth in Barnet. It has replaced the Unitary Development Plan except for the 13 policies for Brent Cross and Cricklewood (PDF, 97KB). It is a collection of documents that work alongside national policy and the Mayor's London Plan to inform planning decisions.
Rithmik studio project

Rithmik is a music project for young people aged 13 to 19 (up to 25 with additional needs) Young people can get involved in Music production, Radio Production, Journalism, Media, Vocals and Song writing. Programmes The Rithmik Music Studio has two open evening programmes a week:

Barnet Early Help 0-19 Service offer a friendly, supportive environment for all young people in Barnet who want to explore the creative arts regardless of experience. We also offer a variety of other activities which occur regularly from this centre which you can enquire about. Activities available at the centre A range of term time and holiday activities take place in Finchley Youth Activity Centre for young people aged 4 – 19 and up to 25 with Disabilities and/or Autism.

Barnet’s My Say Matters team are excited to announce the forthcoming cycle of elections to select our next Barnet Members of Youth Parliament and Youth Ambassadors. We welcome young people aged 11-16 from all backgrounds and communities to apply and take part in this opportunity.
