The Local Heritage List is a schedule of non-designated heritage assets which contribute to the Borough’s heritage and character. The Local Planning Authority produce the list under advice received from Historic England. It supplements the Statutory List of buildings of special architectural or historic interest made up of buildings of national importance. The two lists provide a comprehensive inventory of the Borough’s historic buildings.

Dollis Valley Greenwalk

The Dollis Valley Greenwalk is a 10-mile walk linking green spaces along the Dollis Valley, starting in Moat Mount, Mill Hill through Barnet and into Hampstead Heath. The route can take up to 6 hours to walk and is mostly flat with hard surfaces making it suitable for walkers, runners and wheelchair users. The weather can make parts of the walk muddy or icy.

Shared ownership is a scheme that helps you buy your own home. It enables single people, couples and families to make the first step towards buying a home that they could not afford otherwise. You can buy an affordable share of a property with a mortgage, your savings or both.  Under the scheme you can buy between 25% to 75% of the full market value of the property.  You will need a 10% mortgage deposit for the share to be purchased. You will pay rent for the share that you do not own.
