There are a variety of accommodation options available for a young person leaving care. Some may return home or live with friends or on their own, while others move to supported accommodation. Supported Lodgings Hosts are approved individuals/families who provide a stepping stone for young people who are 16+ and have been in the care of the local authority. It allows young people to continue to develop their independence skills in a supportive, family environment. 

Step one Following your expression of interest, you have decided you might want to be a Supported Lodgings Host. At this point a member of our team will visit you and your family at home to discuss the options, process, and whether this is something you want to pursue. Step two
