Baby Bounce and Play is a rhyme, story and sensory play session for babies that can't walk yet. Sessions cost £3.50 payable at the library desk on arrival. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Baby Bounce and Play sessions run regularly during term time at Chipping Barnet and Colindale libraries.

Freshwater Theatre Company presents an interactive and engaging drama workshop to tie into this year's Summer Reading Challenge theme: The Gadgeteers! Using a mix of drama games and role-play, you will meet our scientist-inventor who wants to share their science machine with the Gadgeteers. But oh no! The machine is broken! They will need your help and enthusiasm for scientific discovery to fix the machine and show it off.

Sangam reception will provide: seating heating hot refreshments (tea and coffee) biscuits pastries Every day there will be 20 food bags available for local community members who need support during these times of crisis. Please do come along, have a rest, some refreshments and a break.

Christmas Day service at 11am with a free dinner served from 1pm. There will also be live music, games, and a quiz. You will need to contact Cricklewood Baptist Church in advance to reserve a place or volunteer.

Join us in our Community Room for board games, puzzles, crafts, mindful colouring and more! Get to know the people in your local community and learn a new skill! This event is suitable for adults. No booking required, just come along.  

Conversation Café is for people whose first language is not English and who would like to improve their speaking skills. The sessions cover a variety of subjects and topics to help you gain confidence in speaking English in a fun, relaxed and welcoming environment. Our Shared Reading group is a place to relax, make new friends and share stories with others. You can just drop in, sit down and enjoy listening to a great story or poem. There’s no pressure to talk or read.
