Rhyme Time is a 30 minute facilitated session for parents and carers and their babies and toddlers. The session involves nursery rhymes and songs, books and a story. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Rhyme Time takes place in term time only.

Join us for a traditional library activity of rhymes and stories with a simple mark making activity for under fives. Sessions must be booked via Eventbrite. Booking opens at 7:00am on the morning of each session. Please read the Eventbrite information for more details. Rhymes, Stories and Mark Making takes place in term time only.

Play Club is an activity session at Chipping Barnet library that aims to provide a play space where families can meet and socialize with one another. We provide opportunities for children to explore and learn through a range of activities focused on physical play and general well-being. Play Club runs during term time.  Places must be booked online on the day of the session. Booking opens every Monday at 7am.

Baby Bounce and Play is a rhyme, story and sensory play session for babies that can't walk yet.  Sessions cost £3.50 payable at the library desk on arrival. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Baby Bounce and Play sessions run regularly during term time.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.  Children aged 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
