On Saturday 13 May 2023 from 2.30pm-4pm, Barnet Libraries Literary Festival 2023 welcomes award winning author Claire Fuller talking to Lorraine Brown about her new book The Memory of Animals. The event includes a Q&A and book signing session. Claire Fuller is the author of five novels. The Memory of Animals will be published in April 2023.

The event includes a Q&A and book signing session. Born and raised in London. Ben had the sort of unrelentingly uninteresting childhood that drives a person to drink or science fiction. The later proved useful in his early career when he wrote for Doctor Who & Casualty. His career floundered in the late 1990s and he was forced to go out and work for living.

On Sunday 14 May 2023 from 9.30am-11.30am. Barnet Libraries Literary Festival 2023 welcomes: A morning with award winning author Tanya Landman in conversation with Miriam Halahmy discussing her stunning books The Battle of Cable Street and Lightning Strike. Including a 15-20mins Q&A and book signing session. There will be a bookseller in attendance and Tanya & Miriam will be on hand to sign purchased books. This event is suitable for ages 9-12yrs, teenagers & adults.

Imagine the new king on his coronation day. Draw him during the service in Westminster Abbey, surrounded by his family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, on his throne, or in a scene of your own choosing! This event is suitable for children aged 5-12. No booking is required. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Sport really is an art form, so why not celebrate it through art! In this painting workshop, you'll capture your favourite sports and sporting heroes using gouache, a water-based medium that's easy and fun to use. From Wimbledon and the Gay Games to the Rugby and Men and Women's World Cup, Summer 2023 promises to be a bumper season for sport...and now, inspiration for a hugely creative season of art. Materials are included, but make sure you bring your imagination. This event is suitable for children 8+. Booking is essential.
