On Saturday 8 July from 11am-1pm at Finchley Church End Library: Barnet Libraries presents a morning with award winning children's author Tom Palmer with Rocky of the Rovers to celebrate the Summer Reading Challenge and the Women’s World Cup.
Suitable for ages 7 to 12yrs.
Tom will be hosting a quiz about football reading, then a penalty shoot-out, in the library! You can even have a selfie with Tom’s favourite character from his books, Rocky Race. Plus, children will be able to sign-up for the Summer Reading Challenge.
The event includes a 15 to 20mins Q&A and book signing session.
Tom and Rocky will be on hand to sign purchased books. Payment for books can be made with cash or card.
