I am writing to formally request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding abandoned or empty properties within the Barnet borough. Specifically, I would like to request the following information:1. A list of properties currently identified as vacant or abandoned within Barnet.2. Details of any policies or procedures that the council has in place for managing empty properties, including any plans for redevelopment or community use.3. Information on any existing community initiatives aimed at repurposing or revitalising abandoned properties.4. Any available data on how long these properties have been vacant and any actions taken by the council regarding them.This information is crucial for our ongoing efforts to establish a mental health day centre aimed at supporting adults facing mental health challenges in the community.I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your prompt response, as required under the Act.Thank you.
