Damaged Manhole Cover Enquiry 11081787Location - On Frith Lane heading towards Bittacy Hill I am formally requesting, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, copies of all correspondence on file relating to the matter I first reported in August. The prolonged delay in addressing this issue is wholly unacceptable.While you may not consider this to pose an immediate danger, the road is visibly subsiding, and this is not the first occurrence in this specific area. Furthermore, I wish to highlight the previous loss of life at this exact location following a road traffic accident (RTA). To my knowledge, no investigation was ever conducted into the cause of the incident or why the driver tragically lost control. This raises serious concerns regarding the safety and structural integrity of the road, which must be addressed as a matter of urgency.Additionally, the ongoing disruption caused by the defective manhole cover remains unresolved. I do not accept any further delays in addressing this matter.I expect a full disclosure of all relevant correspondence on file. If, for any reason, you are unable to fulfill this request under the Freedom of Information Act, you are required to provide a clear and lawful explanation.
