The UK Parliamentary General Election will be held on Thursday 12 December 2019. Polls will be open from 7am to 10pm.

2019 General Election
Residents in Barnet will elect Members of Parliament for the following constituencies in the 2019 General Election
- Chipping Barnet constituency
- Finchley and Golders Green constituency and
- Hendon constituency.
Each constituency elects one member of parliament to represent them.
You need to be registered to vote to be able to take part in the elections. The registration deadlines for voters are below:
- register to vote, midnight, Tuesday 26 November 2019
- apply for a postal vote, 5pm, Tuesday 26 November 2019 (you must be registered to vote before you can receive a postal vote)
- apply for a proxy vote, 5pm Tuesday 4 December 2019
Polling cards are currently being sent to registered households across the borough. The statement of persons nominated was also published this week.
