Emergency centres

We can make an Emergency Centre available to those evacuated due to an emergency. Barnet Council volunteers run our emergency centres. They provide a communal space where those evacuated can: temporarily gather get refreshments get attention for any specific needs receive regular information updates from the scene We decide where the Emergency Centre will be at the time of the incident. They are usually opened in a school, community centre or similar public building.
