Cockroaches can cause food poisoning. If you see a cockroach it is likely you have an infestation in your home. Cockroaches will leave a musty smell and droppings which are small black spots can be found in cracks and crevices around food storage or warm areas.  

If you, a friend or family member are having problems with alcohol or drugs you can talk to someone at Barnet’s adult or young people's substance misuse services. Barnet residents can access a full range of services, from advice through to structured treatment programmes and residential treatment if necessary. Support is also available for young people and adults, along with their families and carers.

We usually try to speak to the person causing the problem, either in person or by letter. In the majority of cases, this works and the problem doesn't happen again.
